          I've done a lot of family portraits, infants through adults, and many pet portraits.  I've photographed thousands of children, in schools, dance schools, candid shots, and formal portraits in a variety of styles with many kinds of cameras.   

          Portrait photography is challenging and you need to have a personality that is upbeat, lively, and sensitive.   There are many styles of portrait photography.   I prefer a simple style that emphasizes the personality and expression of the subject, but can I do many different kinds.   The most important thing in a portrait is the expression,  and it doesn't have to be a smile.    I especially enjoy photographing young children and pets so I make room in my schedule for requests.

           I enjoy doing weddings, but I'm quite selective on which ones I do.   I will travel a significant distance to do a wedding.    My wedding style is more journalistic than formal.  I give my customers a choice of B/W or Color or both.   I deliver a custom tailored product, not a "package".   Once I know details and logistics, I can discuss the price.

    Hollywood Glamour Pet Photography

        There is a special place in my heart for all kinds of pets, especially dogs.    That love of animals led to the creation of my pet photography specialty.  Pet photography requires a certain knack with animals.   It's not easy, so don't let the pictures fool you.  You have to work very fast, and maintain a positive rapport with the animal, plus work the camera while moving around a lot.   I sometimes to fundraisers for pet rescue organizations.   Call to discuss a shoot.
