Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal in Agra, India, is one of the most photographed monuments
in the world.    It was built over 22 years by a forlorn Indian king, in honor
his wife who died in childbirth with their 14th child.
Millions of people from around the world visit it every year.
Because of security precautions, you can no longer photograph the Taj at moonlight,
unless you go to the rear side on the other side of the Jumna river.

The Taj is surrounded by gardens, trees, water pools, and small buildings where musicians once played.
Most of the pools no longer have water in them.   It is maintained quite nicely, however.
